CSM Marvin HillLeadership Expert, CSM (ret.) Marvin Hill, has over 30 years of strategic leadership experience, working with large complex global organizations, guiding, coaching, developing, and energizing leaders, building cultures, and creating high performing teams.

Marvin served as the senior enlisted advisor to the commander of US and coalition forces in Afghanistan, and also advised USMC Gen. John Allen and the top NATO, Afghan and international commanders on training, combat operations, morale and welfare of 140,000 military and civilian personnel serving in Afghanistan.

CSM Hill was personally selected by US Army General David H. Petraeus to serve as the top non-commissioned officer and as his senior enlisted advisor in Afghanistan, and earlier at the US Central Command Headquarters, at the Multinational Forces headquarters in Iraq, and at the 101st Airborne Division.

He also served as LTG Russel L. Honore’s top non-commissioned officer and senior enlisted advisor during LTG Honore’s leadership of the US government response to Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, as the Command Sergeant Major of First United States Army.
